FBR has Issued Instructions to Open Offices on 28th and 29th March, 2019 with Extend Working Hours

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued instructions to all LTUs/CRTOs/RTOs to open their offices on 28th and 29th March, 2019, and extend working hours till 8pm on Friday and till 10pm on Saturday to facilitate the taxpayers in payment of duties and taxes and filing of income tax returns/statements.

FBR has further instructed the chief commissioners to establish liaison with State Bank of Pakistan and the authorized branches of National Bank of Pakistan to ensure transfer of tax collection by these branches on 30th March to the respective branches of the central bank on the same date so as to account for the same towards the collection for the month of March as per SBP’s directions.
